Volunteer Chairperson urgently sought
Lymington Sailability - is in urgent need of a new volunteer Chairperson. If you have time on your hands, and a passion to get involved in a highly rewarding and exciting charity, could this be opportunity you are looking for?
Our mission is to enable sailing and powerboating opportunities to be accessible for all – whatever their disability, age or gender. You will have:
The opportunity to reshape the future of the group through the creation of a new team.
The task of overseeing and leading the strategic direction of the charity
The responsibility for developing and implementing strategies, and policies set by the board of trustees.
The privilege of being the ‘face’ of the charity to drive the social agenda and promote goodwill.
The support of a team of volunteers who have a passion to enable sailors to get out onto the water and have fun.
You will have an intuitive ability to lead and nurture the organization. No sailing experience is required but an evident love of the sea would be a great starting point.
